
Hardboiled
Stop-Motion Film Directed by Peter Sluszka. I had an opportunity to build sets pieces, props and food character puppets for this amazing satire of the urban American crime drama.

Mock set created for the Brooklyn street scene for Hardboiled.



Gatorfoam board building structure, dressed with Basla wood strips.


Balsa foam sculpted to create a weathered wall. The balsa foam was used for a wall cracking /punching gag during animation.

Window frame built with balsa wood strips, with 1/16th acrylic pieces used as glass.




Stinky- cheese character puppet built from fake food prop. Hands made with annealed steel wire, dipped in tinted latex rubber.

Stinky hand armature. 28 gauge annealed steel with wire with pro-poxy for the palm.

Public telephone booth prop, created using polystyrene. Phone receiver modeled with epoxy putty

bottle prop sculpt with expoxy putty and aluminum tube base.


Responsible for the bottle prop and rigging the spring onion puppet arms with 1/16th aluminum wire.



Responsible for only casting and painting.


Basla foam model car. I am responsible for building the windshield, repairing the model, rigging the wheels with brass tubing and painting the prop.
